ImmuniWeb Joins Expert Panel and Round Table Unveiling 2025 Verizon DBIR Report
April 24, 2025As a Contributor to the 2025 Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR), ImmuniWeb joined Verizon for the DBIR report presentation at the Verizon’s TV studio in London.

On Wednesday April 23, Verizon unveiled its 2025 Data Breach Investigations Report, which serves as a gold standard for global cybercrime and data breaches analytics in the cybersecurity industry.
Dr. Ilia Kolochenko, Chief Architect & CEO at ImmuniWeb, joined an expert panel and round table organized by Verizon to unveil the DBIR report on Wednesday morning from Verizon’s TV studio in London for hundreds of journalists connecting from the EMEA and APAC regions.

During the presentation of key findings of the DBIR report, invited experts and Verizon’s team briefly addressed the novel trends of ransomware and proposed countermeasures, management of third- and fourth-party risks management in a complex multicloud environment, use of GenAI by both cybercriminals and cybersecurity companies, cybersecurity insurance and its pitfalls, as well as the role of board of directors in cybersecurity governance.
After the successful presentation of the key findings, discussions continued during the invitation-only round table with journalists who were present in the TV studio to allow in-depth review of most complicated cybersecurity and cybercrime trends and challenges.
Being a contributor the 2025 DBIR report, ImmuniWeb shared public data from its Community Edition, which has successfully completed over 380,000 million security scans as of today.
