Advisory Details:

High-Tech Bridge SA Security Research Lab has discovered vulnerability in ACal which could be exploited to compromise vulnerable system.

1) Remote file inclusion vulnerability in ACal
Input passed to the "path" parameter in embed/day.php and embed/month.php scripts is not properly sanitized before including files. A remote attacker can include and execute arbitrary files from local and remote locations. Successful exploitation might allow remote code execution but requires that register_globals is enabled.

Solution:
Currently we are not aware of any vendor-supplied patches or other solutions. The vendor was contacted in accordance to our Vendor Notification Policy but we didn't get any answer or feedback.
